• Purpose: Provide a clear, defensible opinion grounded in evidence and AMA Guides (5th/6th).

When Used

• Disputed causation: Who/what caused the condition.
• Apportionment: Event vs. pre-existing contribution.
• Maximum Medical Improvement (MMI): Has recovery plateaued?
• Impairment rating: % per AMA Guides.
• Work capacity/restrictions: Return-to-work abilities.
• Reasonableness/necessity: Was care appropriate?

• Referral Sources: Insurers, attorneys, employers, agencies.
• Observers are welcome when authorized. Recording permitted with proper authorization or court order. We maintain exam integrity—no participation, interruptions, or coaching. Provide written authorization with your referral to prevent delays. 
• Evaluation-only practice — explicit separation from treatment.
